ACCD Seminar Recap – August 8

We were honored to welcome representatives from ArtCenter College of Design for an in-person seminar and portfolio review session at ICON Art Academy. As one of the world’s leading institutions for art and design education, ArtCenter’s visit offered our students a rare opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the school’s admissions process and creative culture.

Portfolio Feedback

During the session, students received personalized, one-on-one feedback directly from an ArtCenter admissions representative. Through this individualized review, students learned how their portfolios are evaluated within the context of ArtCenter’s rigorous standards. The feedback highlighted each student’s strengths while offering constructive suggestions to help refine their presentation and artistic direction for future submissions.

In addition to portfolio reviews, the ArtCenter representative provided an in-depth look at the college’s programs, academic philosophy, and community of creators.
