Hello World! (ESL Book)
This opportunity allows Icon students to take part in a meaningful global volunteer project in partnership with Pathway International and Lialoha Pathway International School in Cambodia. Students will help create an illustrated beginner-level English textbook to support English education for underserved children. Through this initiative, ICON aims to expand its social impact by empowering students to use their artistic talents to make a meaningful difference.
Throughout the program, students take the lead in:
1. Developing ideas for educational activities
2. Designing the book layout and content
3. Creating dialogues, vocabulary lists, and grammar points
4. Illustrating pages to make learning fun and accessible
Our Hello World! Cambodian ESL Book-Making Project are offered during the Summer and Winter session. This is a special chance for you to make a difference by using your artistic talent to create meaningful educational resources for children while becoming part of a project that extends art beyond the classroom.
