Entertainment Design
About
ICON Art Academy’s Online Entertainment Design Class introduces students to the creative process behind designing characters, environments, and visual concepts for entertainment. Through remote instruction and hands-on projects, students learn how visual ideas are developed to support stories and create engaging fictional worlds.
Students will explore the creative and technical foundations of entertainment design, including:
Character design and development
Environment and world design
Concept development and visual storytelling
Composition, color, and visual direction
Creating visual references and design concepts
Developing ideas from initial sketches to refined artwork
Students will apply these skills through creative projects, allowing them to develop original characters, environments, and visual concepts while building their own artistic direction.
Develop Your Creative World
Entertainment design combines art, storytelling, and imagination to create memorable visual experiences. Students will learn how to turn their ideas into purposeful designs that communicate character, setting, mood, and story. The class encourages students to experiment with different concepts and develop artwork that demonstrates both their technical skills and creative thinking.
